2) ccpgames.com/jobs.aspx out of Atlanta has a LOT of jobs open. They just merged with another company and I think they have quite a bit of cash to hire to move forward

3) Marc told me about mantech.com out of Fairfax VA. They have quite a few jobs listed that you might go through, but he told me about a product they regularly hire newbies for to bring them up through the system. It is called Kill Chain. It is used at a top secret level by top military brass for war simulation. Of course you have to be able to pass top secret clearance too. However, a game programmer with a top secret clearance and experience is NOT going to have an income or job problem ever again.
