Audio Methods

The methods of the Audio class are listed below. For a complete list of Audio class members, see the Audio Members topic.

Public Static Methods

Initialize Loads audioEngine, soundBank, music waveBank, and effects waveBank.
KeyFound Sound played when player finds a Key.
LoadXML Loads xml data for audio tag and play's level song.
MenuBack Sound played when Back button is pressed in menu system.
MenuDown Sound played when Down button is pressed in menu system.
MenuDPad Sound played when Dpad button is pressed in Game.
MenuLeft Sound played when Left button is pressed in menu system.
MenuPlayerShuffleLeft Sound played when Player selection is changed in menu system.
MenuPlayerShuffleRight Sound played when Player selection is changed in menu system.
MenuRight Sound played when Right button is pressed in menu system.
MenuStart Sound played when Start button is pressed in menu system.
MenuUp Sound played when Up button is pressed in menu system.
Play3D_LoopTrack Sound used when Player terrainMods.
Play3D_LoopTrack_TimedKill Sound coming from a particle on the board, used in attacks. Sound is attached to the particle itself.
Play3D_OneTimeTrack Sound used when Player jumps.
PlayCue2D Base function called by all 2D sounds.
PlayLevelSong Play's a song in the background.
Update Update XNA audio engine. See if user has requested to mute or unmute music.

Public Instance Methods

Equals (inherited from Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object)Serves as a hash function for a particular type. GetHashCode is suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object)Gets the Type of the current instance.
ToString (inherited from Object)Returns a String that represents the current Object.
